Media uploads and limits

The website asset library accepts images and MP4/WebM video, up to 5 MB per file, with up to 100 assets in the restaurant’s library. Assets, logos, banners, global colors and additional pages are shared by locations using the same website.

Each upload is saved immediately. Save handles other pending editor edits. Removing an asset from the library detaches its reference; it does not destroy media that could be used elsewhere. An abandoned upload is not automatically removed.

Logos and banners

Use the existing logo and banner upload controls. Website setup distinguishes the logo, desktop banner and mobile banner. Upload the image you want to use and identify it in your request. Image generation is not currently available in Gordon.

A website logo can also provide the receipt-logo fallback, while a separately saved receipt logo overrides it for that location's customer receipts.

Named colors

The shared palette supports up to 128 named colors. You can ask Gordon to add a named color to the palette. Check whether the color already exists before adding another. A palette addition is visible to all linked locations. It does not publish the website, change existing colors or remove required colors or pages. Other pending editor changes remain yours to save.

What website interactions support

Website pages can use styling, browser interactions, image/video resources and Google Fonts. External widgets, embedded forms and third-party scripts may not work in the preview. Check supported integrations before planning a booking widget or form that depends on another service.
