Install on your tablet
Visit air-pos.com/download on the Android tablet that will run POS. Download and install the published Air POS app.
Opening the download page does not complete installation. When following the setup checklist, mark the download step done after the app is installed.
Add your receipt logo
In the dashboard, open Settings → POS and add the location’s receipt logo. This is separate from website artwork.
The setup checklist checks the saved receipt logo. Review the actual receipt output once a printer is configured.
Set up printing
On the POS tablet, open the main settings and choose Printing. Connect your printer, assign customer copies or kitchen tickets, then set the paper options.
Printer configuration is saved on each POS device. If you have multiple tills, set up the intended printers on each one.
Finish the setup step
Confirm the printer produces the intended receipt and ticket output before marking printer setup done in the checklist.
Gordon can walk you through the settings, but cannot inspect your local printer connection or send a print remotely.
Installation, logo and printers
The setup checklist starts with Download Air POS on your Android tablet. Visit air-pos.com/download on the tablet and install the latest published app. Opening the link is not proof of installation.
Next, add the location's receipt logo. Then open POS main settings → Printing and set up printers. Confirm installation and printer setup through Mark as done in the checklist; the logo step uses the saved logo rather than manual completion.
Printer names, assignments, paper settings and print history are local to each POS and are not copied automatically to another till. The receipt logo is shared for the location, so the artwork and device assignments have different scopes.
Staff actions on POS
Staff can clock in, clock out, start and end breaks. Their activity is recorded in the team member profile. Scheduled time remains separate from worked time. Seating a live reservation uses the POS workflow to open the guest's tab; simply editing the reservation does not do this.
Print failures after payment
A successful payment and successful paper output are different outcomes. If printing fails after a successful payment, check the print job and paper, then create a labelled reprint if needed. Do not take the payment again.
