Reservations

Review bookings on the floor plan and seat guests when they arrive.

Open Reservations

Choose Reservations in the bottom navigation on POS. Select the restaurant-local date and room, then tap a table to review its bookings. Refresh the view when you need the latest availability.

If Reservations is missing, check that reservations are enabled for the location.

Review the booking

Check the guest, party size, time, duration and assigned table. Allow for turnaround time and bookings in other experiences that use the same tables.

A booking without an assigned table still needs a suitable space. Pending bookings with tables can occupy capacity; waitlisted parties do not reserve a table. See Manage reservations for booking details and statuses.

Seat arriving guests

Open the intended booking and use its seating action when the party arrives. Seating through POS connects the reservation with the guest's tab. Open the tab in Order taking to add their order.

Assigning a table in advance is different from seating the party. Check the current booking and table before seating, particularly if another team member is also managing arrivals.

Update an arrival status

Use the available confirmation or no-show action only when it matches what has happened. Read the saved result before moving on; another update to the booking may require you to refresh it first.

Use the dashboard for creating reservations, managing booking requests and waitlists, and reviewing guest notifications. Changes to a booking already linked to POS should follow the POS workflow so active service stays connected.

Walk-ins and floor changes

Use Restaurant for walk-ins, live tables and tabs. Set up rooms, tables and experience restrictions before service so availability reflects the seats you actually have.
