Keep your business details, timezone, taxes and service charge aligned with the location.

Select the location
Choose the location before changing its name, address or regional settings. Review the current values and save the section you are changing.
Location settings cover business identity and address, business type, timezone, currency, language, first day of the week, date and time formats, reporting hours, taxes, service charge and test data.
Regional settings
Timezone affects local schedules and reporting periods. Display formats change how dates and times appear; they do not change the underlying service hours.
Changing currency does not convert historical transactions. Review currency and reporting filters carefully when comparing older activity.
Hours
Set Reporting hours under Settings → General to define report periods and KDS shifts. Delivery and pickup hours are separate schedules. Check the rest of the week before saving.
Use local time. A closing time earlier than the opening time can mean overnight service, such as 18:00–03:00. See Reporting, delivery and pickup hours.
Taxes and service charge
Tax settings include the tax name and abbreviation, standard and reduced rates, and tax-inclusive pricing. Use the settings appropriate to your business. An item's zero-rated and tax-exempt selections are different.
Service charge can be a percentage or a fixed amount. Switching the type resets the amount or rate that no longer applies, so check the new value before saving.
If you are unsure which tax treatment to use, check with the person responsible for your business's taxes. A configured tax field does not determine your obligations.
Test data
Show test data saves immediately. Test activity is separate from live sales, and enabling its display does not activate real payment processing. Check the mode shown on the payment record or report itself too.
For missing activity, first check the location, dates, filters and record status. Changing a location's mode is not a substitute for finding the right transaction.
Review saved changes
Check the resulting values, especially after changing timezone or currency. Location settings are not covered by catalogue Undo; use the settings controls to make any corrections.
