Your organization and locations

Your organization brings your restaurant locations together. Each location has its own operational settings, including opening hours and ordering availability. Catalogues and websites can be shared between locations.

Your account determines which organizations and locations you can access. Partners may manage several organizations. The menus and controls you see depend on your workspace and permissions.

Choose a location

Use the location dropdown in the dashboard's left sidebar before changing settings. Check the location name before saving a change or asking Gordon to help.

In chat, “here” or “this location” refers to your current selection. Name another location explicitly when your request concerns it, or list the locations for a change across several restaurants. A conversation can continue after you switch locations, but a task already running keeps its original location.

If you switch locations during a conversation, name the item as well as the location in your next request. This helps distinguish it from an item discussed earlier.

Shared content

A catalogue can supply several locations. Items, categories and choices may be reused across menus, and one website design may serve several restaurants. Editing shared content can affect every place that uses it, even when you opened it from a single location.

For example, a burger used at Acme Kitchen and Max Hamburger remains the same item. Changing its price can affect both restaurants. Decide whether you want a shared change or an independent copy before editing.

Adding existing content to another menu reuses it. Making an independent copy allows future edits to stay separate. Removing an item from one menu removes that placement; deleting the item can affect all its placements.

Permissions

Access to a location does not grant every action there. Team management, billing and payment controls can require additional permissions. A role named Manager does not automatically grant organization-administrator access.

If a control is unavailable, ask your organization administrator to check your access. See Payment account access for payment and payout permissions.
