Receipts, tickets and print jobs
Control automatic printing, make a labelled reprint and understand job status.

Automatic printing
Under Automatic printing, choose Customer copies or Kitchen tickets and set Print after payment for that role's assigned printers.
For incoming online delivery or pickup orders, check the corresponding auto-accept setting, keep POS open and active, and connect a printer assigned to kitchen tickets. Online auto-accept is separate from the POS Print after payment switch.
A printing failure does not mean payment failed. Check the transaction before asking the customer to pay again.
Print a receipt or ticket
From completed checkout or a transaction, choose Print receipt, then Print customer copy or Print ticket.
Transaction reprints use the printers currently assigned to the chosen role, with their current paper, cutter and connection settings. Checkout and Print jobs reprints keep their original targets. For eligible unsent jobs, Use current assignment updates the destination.
Reprints are labelled and do not charge the customer again. If several printers are assigned, check which copies succeeded before resending.
Read print-job status
Print jobs shows local history for the latest 100 jobs. It initially displays ten; use Show more for older entries. Choose All jobs or Needs attention, then expand a job for its attempts, error and original job when it is a reprint.
| Status | What to do |
|---|---|
| Queued | The job is waiting to send. Check the connection if it remains queued. |
| Blocked | No send attempt completed. Read the error, fix the connection, permission or assignment, then use Send / retry. |
| Sending | Wait while the job is being sent. |
| Sent | Data reached the printer connection. Check the paper; this is not physical print confirmation. |
| Printed | Someone confirmed the paper output. |
| Check paper | The send may have partly succeeded. Inspect the paper before creating a labelled reprint. |
| Cancelled | The job was cancelled. |
Needs attention includes queued, blocked and uncertain jobs. Confirm paper printed only after checking the actual output. Create reprint asks for a reason. Uncertain jobs are not retried automatically, helping avoid duplicate copies.
Receipt logo
The dashboard and POS receipt-logo controls manage the same location setting. Upload PNG or JPG under 450 KB. Black artwork on a white or transparent background, 300–600 pixels wide, is recommended.
The screens show the effective logo, including the website-logo fallback. Use website logo clears the receipt override for every till at that location. Printer connections and assignments still remain local to each POS.
POS settings refresh periodically, normally every 15 seconds. Offline printing retains the last shared artwork. Check for a failed-save message when changing the logo.
New customer receipts and historical reprints use the shared artwork. Kitchen tickets do not use it.
Paper quality
Match the paper setting to 80 mm or 58 mm and inspect the printed result. Software image conversion is separate from the printer's heat or density controls. If large dark areas cause problems, try Avoid solid black backgrounds in that printer's settings.
