Choose a reward
Campaigns are checkout promotions for a specific location. Supported rewards include percentage discounts, a fixed discount, a fixed item price, free delivery, buy-X-get-Y and a free item.
A fixed discount applies at order level rather than being deducted in full from every eligible unit. A fixed-price offer sets the eligible unit’s price, including modifiers, and does not increase an already lower price.
Set eligibility
Choose whether the offer applies to all items, selected categories or selected items. Then set the customer segment, minimum order, date range, days and hours.
A delivery-zones-only condition limits eligibility to delivery addresses inside an active zone. It excludes pickup and addresses outside zones, even if another delivery-pricing method is used.
Save and activate
Choose Save as draft to prepare an offer without making it active. Save campaign publishes it according to its dates and hours. Editing an active campaign affects checkout immediately.
Pause an offer by returning it to draft. Gordon does not provide automatic campaign undo; revise or pause the offer if you need to change it.
Channels and stacking
Include online ordering when you want the offer available online. The combinable setting controls whether discounts can stack, while checkout determines whether a particular basket qualifies.
A saved POS coverage setting does not, by itself, establish that the offer can be redeemed on POS. Loyalty-points and double-points rewards remain draft-only.
These campaigns configure checkout offers; they do not send email or SMS marketing messages.
Drafts, activation and pausing
Campaigns apply at checkout for one location. They do not send email or SMS. Check the campaign name and location before editing, and review the conditions you want to retain.
In the dashboard, Save campaign publishes according to its dates and hours. Save as draft saves a draft, including when editing an active campaign. Gordon creates drafts unless activation is explicitly requested and preserves status on ordinary edits. Editing an active offer changes checkout behavior immediately.
Pause an offer by returning it to draft. There is no automatic campaign Undo or deletion through Gordon; revise or pause the current offer. A saved campaign counts for Marketing setup even when it remains a draft.
Every reward type
| Reward | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Percentage | A percentage from 0–100, subject to its eligibility and any cap. |
| Fixed amount | One order-level discount, not the full amount deducted from every unit. |
| Fixed price | Sets each eligible configured unit to the offer price, including modifiers, without raising an already lower price. |
| Free delivery | Waives an eligible delivery charge under the campaign's conditions. |
| Buy one, get one | Uses same-item, any-eligible-item or fixed-gift rules. |
| Free item | Requires the specified gift item to be in the basket. |
| Loyalty points / double points | Draft only; activation is not available. |
For a fixed-price example, an offer can price eligible hotdogs at £1. It includes their configured modifiers and must not increase a hotdog already priced below £1. Use the intended category or product selection for a scoped offer.
Eligibility, dates and scheduling
Eligible scope can be all items, selected categories or selected items from the location's assigned catalogue. Gift products must also be valid for that location. Customer segments can be all, new or returning. Minimum spend, maximum discount, currency, location, item targeting, code and stacking conditions all matter.
Dates and hours use the restaurant's timezone. The end date is inclusive; no end date means no expiry. Equal start and end times mean all day, and overnight windows are supported. At least one coverage channel is required. Online Deals requires online-ordering coverage; do not rely on POS redemption solely because POS is listed as a coverage option.
Only within delivery zones applies to every reward type. It excludes pickup and delivery addresses outside active zones. It is a geographic condition independent of pricing: journey-priced delivery inside an active zone may qualify. Being inside a zone does not waive the campaign's other requirements.
Storefront presentation
Active, currently scheduled online offers populate the offers carousel. Storewide basket discounts leave displayed product prices unchanged. Automatic, unconditional selected-item percentage offers can show reduced prices; conditional or code offers retain regular prices until checkout confirms eligibility.
Copy code copies the code to the clipboard; it does not apply it. Gift/item links show eligible products. On mobile, banners retain the icon, hide the subtitle and show details in the info dialog. Countdown expiry follows restaurant time.
Use reporting to review actual redemptions and savings. Preview-page sample codes are not active campaigns.
